About Us

Watson Memorial Home was established by bequest in the will of Caroline E Watson, who died in 1919. The home was opened in 1935 as a non-profit charitable organization.

Watson Memorial Home is a licensed personal care home providing food, shelter and personal assistance with activities of daily living to women age 65 or older. This includes assistance in matters such as; bathing, dressing, nutritional management, financial management, medication management and finding and securing medical care as needed.

To become a resident of the home, the candidate must be a single/widowed female age 65 or older. Once accepted by the Admissions Committee and deemed physically and emotionally appropriate for our facility, the staff in the home coordinate the move and do all moving of residence furniture and belongings. We try to make this process easy on the resident, as well as any family members involved in the process.
